At Hurricane Harbor New Jersey, your waterpark day can flow from adrenaline to easygoing in a few steps. The park offers a mix of high-energy rides and laid-back spaces, all organized to help you plan a smooth visit.
Thrill seekers have options across the park. Tornado launches rafts from seven stories up, drops 75 feet through a 132 foot tunnel, and swings riders across a 60 foot wide funnel. Big Wave Racer sends competitors head-first down 1,800 feet across a six-lane racing complex. Bada Bing, Bada Bang, Bada Boom! stacks three high-speed tube slides on a five story tower, each with a distinct path to the splashdown. Hurricane Mountain groups six slides over five stories, themed and "ranked" like storms for escalating intensity.
Families can reset at Calypso Springs, a beach-entry activity pool with 100,000 gallons of cool water and a center fountain that keeps the action lively. Younger adventurers have their own zone at Discovery Bay, a tiki village splash area with a pirate ship, gentle slides, and a tipping bucket surprise.
The waterpark sits next to Six Flags Great Adventure, making it easy to round out a getaway with theme park time.
Please Note: Theme Park hours are not final and subject to change without notice. Please see the park's daily operating calendar for the most up to date information. Hurricane Harbor requires a separate admission from Six Flags Great Adventure.
Hurricane Harbor New Jerseys' Chaperone Policy
The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Hurricane Harbor New Jersey. In response to the increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior across our industry and at other major entertainment venues, we are taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
We are committed to maintaining Hurricane Harbor New Jersey as a place where families and friends can come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.
As part of that commitment, we are implementing a chaperone policy beginning Saturday, September 7th, 2024.
Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to or remain in the park. The policy will be in effect daily by 4:00 p.m. local time - Hurricane Harbor New Jersey reserves the right to begin enforcing the Chaperone Policy earlier on any given day.
The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.
Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver's license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park. Chaperones must present a valid government-issued photo ID with date of birth.
Pictures of IDs are not accepted.
Guests aged 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone when the Chaperone Policy is in effect will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Six Flags ticket and season passholders.
We believe these changes will help ensure that Hurricane Harbor New Jersey continues to have a positive atmosphere where generations of families and friends can gather for a day of safe fun and good food. Millions of guests have counted on us for exactly that, and we will continue to deliver on that promise for generations to come.
Notice: Hurricane Harbor New Jersey Security personnel utilize surveillance cameras and body worn cameras as part of their overall security program.
Please note that Chaperone Policy can change at any time, please visit park website for most up to date information.
