Just off the boardwalk of Brooklyn's famous Coney Island, dive in and explore the incredible diversity of the world's oceans! During your visit, you'll see our revitalized exhibits, explore our Ocean Wonders: Sharks! Experience the thrills of our Aquatheater, and be a part of the New York Aquarium's amazing transformation! Go below the surface and meet the amazing animals, including sharks, rays, sea turtles, and more, that live right off the Coney Island Boardwalk. Visit our Conservation hall, amongst ocean lovers like us, our Glover’s Reef display is always popular, offering a snorkeler’s-eye view of colorful marine life. Come outside to see our Sea Cliffs, many ocean species spend time along rocky shores. Penguins use the cliffs for nesting, and sea otters, and seals will sometimes rest out of the water. You can even enjoy a show at our Aquatheater, in our interactive show, the bonds our sea lions have with their trainers take center stage. Every day, keepers use toys, treats, and training to stimulate natural behaviors. Catch the enrichment in action.

Oceanside Grill

We're serving up sustainable seafood at our brand new Oceanside Grill! Located on the Coney Island boardwalk stop by for sustainable food like fish tacos and fish and chips. Grab something to eat and enjoy the best view in New York. The grill is a no single-use plastic zone and all food is served on environmentally-friendly packaging: no plastic straws, cups, bags or other items.

Some attractions are open seasonally. Availability also subject to unforeseen conditions including weather, capacity, mechanical and/or animal-related issues.
